What in life stays with us
From the dawn of life to the dusk of it?
Life is but an illusion
Which makes one feel rich,
Which makes one feel poor,
Which makes one feel sad,
Which makes one feel happy.
But life is just another illusion,
Nothing lasting forever
And no one staying forever.
Not even your own shadow,
Which flees at the sight of darkness.
