The Insanity called College :P

Well. Here I was thinking that school was stupid with its million and one dumb ass rules..But realization hit me like a jolt that school was paradise when compared to the gazillion and one rules we have to follow in college. For starters, we have every period for 50 minutes. So no matter how much of time we try to waste, we're still forced to sit through a minimum of 30 minutes of class.
Its pretty stupid but every time I decide not to pay attention in class, and am happily sitting and thinking about nothing, the teacher decides to announce, AT THE END OF THE CLASS, that what she taught that day was a very important topic for the semester exam. Really makes no sense. If it was an important question, they should tell us to listen at the beginning of the bloody class hour. Not tell us its important AFTER the damn class ends.
And who in their right mind would go to college when the government declared a holiday cause its been raining like hell for the past one week? So, when we call up the HOD or the VP, the first thing they ask us is, "what's your name and which branch are in from?" Like it matters which branch we are from. And then they say, "Okay XYZ from mech/ece/eee/it/csc/bull, we have college today because Anna U hasn't declared a holiday. So come to college and if they declare a holiday, we'll send you home by 12 25 PM." That makes NO SENSE. Why would I want to come to college and not sleep in when they decide to send us back? And what's more annoying is the string of calls and or messages I get from 6 till 8 AM asking me whether I'm going. If I say I haven't made up my mind yet, these guys say, "Don't go.We'll bunk only if you do." Like it matters if I don't go.Hell I'm not even the bloody class rep. So why should everyone decide to bunk if I bunk? Pah.
And then there's my EG sir. He's kinda crazy cos he likes to ask the only two girls if we understood what he's just taught when I can bet that some 50 odd guys on 60 didn't get a word he said. But when compared to his friend who tried to teach us, this guy is hell lot better. At least he's wiling to explain it in all the languages he knows(which if I may add, aren't many :P) till everyone understands something.
My physics ma'am is sorta crazy too, but in her own right. She thinks its funny to ask people who were day dreaming in the previous class hour what she's taught. And then ensues a laughter riot which is bound to last for 20 minutes. After which she teaches something for some time :P
My math ma'am thinks my class is weird. And it doesn't help that they ARE weird. They rarely get any concept she's teaching at once. But they are fully capable of making relatively weird comparisons. For example, when we were being taught TAYLOR'S EXPANSION which is a calculus topic, this geni ass sitting behind me has to say "TAYLOR SWIFT'S LOVE STORY". I burst out laughing cause I was unable to make any comparison between that song and the "expansion" besides the name TAYLOR :|
Then, my class teacher cum English teacher. She's come to a conclusion that every Thursday when she comes to class, we need to be yelled at for something we did on Wednesday. Sigh. So usually that day begins with a lecture. What a great way to start a day :X
All in all, I can ever make it through one day of college without laughing at least hundred times :D


So...College is insanity in more than one ways.But some ways its fun insanity :P
