The Kiss Of Eternity

It was a dark night,
Not a star in sight,
We were walking along a deserted path,
It was a winding path.
I just walked,
Knowing not where he was leading me.
The silence seemed too grave,
The cold wind too harsh.
A little time passes by,
We are further away from civilization.
He grasps my hand suddenly,
I expect it to warm my frozen ones,
Instead his seem to freeze mine further.
He covers my eyes and leads me.
We walk further away from civilization.
We stop a while later.
He asks me to stay,with my eyes closed.
I can suddenly feel his breath on my neck.
A chill runs down my spine.
His breathe cool and perhaps harsher than the winter’s wind.
I feel the prick of something sharp on my neck.
And I’m lost to the world.
I awaken,
Only not human,
But as a vampire…
